Welcome to my webpage. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Philosophy & Economics program at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and a research associate with the Tilburg Center  for Logic and Philosophy of Science. I completed my Ph.D. at Tilburg University in 2011.

My primary interests are in epistemology and philosophy of science, particularly in philosophy of economics and social epistemology. My current research focuses on problems of expertise and expert deliberation in economics and the social sciences. I also work on epistemic disagreement and models of consensus formation. I recently undertook a new line of research on biases of judgment; you can find a more detailed description of those and other research activities of mine here.

The core of my work is in philosophy, but my academic formation and research are very interdisciplinary. At Tilburg University I wrote my Ph.D. thesis in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Business Administration, and I have studied economics and public policy, besides philosophy, at UCLA and the University of Padova. I have been a visiting student at several universities, including St. Andrews, UCLA, UPenn, and the University of Sydney.
